Chococam: Two Consumer Associations Reveal Irregularities in Mambo Chocolates

The Cameroonian Consumer Foundation (FOCACO) and The Voice of the Consumer have identified irregularities in Mambo chocolate bars, including a weight discrepancy between packaging and the product. A Mambo milk and crispy rice bar showed a weight of 100 grams on the packaging, while a marking indicated 90 grams. Additionally, a Mambo Noir bar was charged at 950 FCFA based on a 100-gram reference, while the lot indicated 80 grams. FOCACO is calling for explanations regarding these irregularities and allergen labeling.
