Chris Mburu: From a leaking village home to Harvard and the UN

Chris Mburu, a Kenyan lawyer and Senior Human Rights Advisor at the UN, grew up in poverty in Mitahato, Kiambu County. With financial support from Hilde Back, a Swedish teacher, he was able to pursue his education and eventually graduated from Harvard University. His journey was documented in the film _A Small Act_, which tells the story of his quest to find Hilde and thank her. Mburu has worked with the UN since 1996, engaging in various conflict-affected countries.
