Christa Pike discharged from hospital and returned to prison, her lawyers say

US death row inmate Christa Pike has been discharged from hospital after surviving a botched execution attempt at the end of September. She has been returned to prison where she continues to receive medical care. Pike, who survived two lethal injections of pentobarbital, is believed to be the only person to have survived an execution attempt by lethal injection.
