CJ Koome Establishes 4 New Magistrates’ Courts

Chief Justice Martha Koome has established four new magistrates’ courts in Emuhaya, Maara, Tarakwa, and Kegonga, effective September 1, 2026. These courts will be supervised by the Vihiga, Chuka, Eldoret, and Migori High Courts, respectively, aiming to improve access to justice for local residents. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Judiciary to reduce barriers to judicial services.
