Clitoral Nerves: Science Finally Reveals the Secrets of Female Genital Organs

A team of researchers led by Ju Young Lee at the Amsterdam University Medical Center has created an unprecedented 3D mapping of the clitoral nerves, revealing the complexity of its nerve network. This study, based on scans of female pelvises, could prevent sexual function alterations in women undergoing pelvic surgeries. The results, published on BioRxiv, highlight the tree-like structure of the dorsal nerve, the main sensory nerve of the clitoris.
