Morocco's National Human Rights Council (CNDH) emphasized its commitment to ensuring fair trials for Senegalese fans detained for vandalism during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final. The CNDH is monitoring the trial of 18 Senegalese fans and one detainee of French nationality of Algerian origin, charged with various offenses including unauthorized pitch invasion and violence. None of the detainees reported any violations of their rights during interviews with the CNDH team.
