El Malick Ndiaye warns: "What is happening is extremely serious"

El Malick Ndiaye, vice-president of the National Assembly and leader of Pastef, warned in Villongo about the worsening political and economic situation in Senegal, highlighting a return of the "old system" after Ousmane Sonko left the Prime Ministership. He noted that from 2024 to May 2026, the country experienced a period of hope, stability, and international respect, but since the political break, conditions have worsened with the re-emergence of former system actors. Ndiaye also accused these actors of having taken over his camp’s project, called "Tarawaliss."
