In Nouakchott, from April 27 to 30, 2026, Minister of Environment and Ecological Transition Abou BAMBA advocated for sustainable management of marine resources at the 12th Coastal and Marine Regional Forum. He emphasized the importance of oceans for the economic development and food security of coastal states while warning about the degradation of marine ecosystems.
