Cocoa - Coffee: Algerian Madar seeks suppliers in Cameroon

Algerian state-owned group Madar Holding, led by Adel Khemane, scouted the Cameroonian market on July 9, 2026 in Douala, meeting with ONCC and CICC to identify coffee suppliers. No firm commitments were announced. Madar is also interested in bananas and is exploring agricultural investments. Algeria previously imported 8.8 billion FCFA worth of Cameroonian coffee between 2020 and 2022.
