Cocoa Marketing: Over 50,000 Tons of Beans Already Purchased via the SNT in Two Weeks

The 2026/2027 cocoa campaign has started in Ivory Coast with the purchase of 50,085 tons of beans between September 7 and 20, 2026, involving 770 cooperatives and approved buyers. Despite traditionally low activity during this period, transactions are proceeding well, with 1,032 bills of lading validated for an expected volume of 40,947 tons. The ports of Abidjan and San Pedro received 21,467 tons, marking a 51.6% increase compared to the previous year.
