Cocoa: the price of a kilogram of beans approaches 3000 FCFA in Cameroon, at the start of the 2026-2027 campaign

On August 31, 2026, the price of a kilogram of cocoa beans reached a maximum of 2900 FCFA in Cameroon, with a minimum of 2750 FCFA, according to the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (ONCC). This price marks an increase compared to the range of 2700 to 2750 FCFA observed at the end of the 2025-2026 season. The last season ended with significant stocks of 40,446 tons, which should energize the market while awaiting the first harvests projected for the end of 2026.
