Cocoa Traceability: 600 Cooperatives Make 100% of Their Purchases with the Producer Card

Since September 1, 2026, 600 cooperatives in Côte d'Ivoire have made cocoa bean purchases using the producer card, marking a significant advancement in the National Traceability System (SNT). These cooperatives utilize specific bags and seals to ensure the tracking of beans, thus guaranteeing their origin and compliance with international market requirements. Prior to this date, 10,000 electronic payment terminals and 10 million seals were distributed to support this initiative.
