Colombe du Sud awarded six million CFA francs after victory in Senegal

Colombe du Sud returned to Cameroon after beating Senegal’s Teungueth FC 2-0 in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the African Champions League. The team was welcomed at Yaoundé-Nsimalen airport by board chairman Dr. Doko Edjiane and supporters. Jacques Fame Ndongo, minister of state for higher education and a member of the club’s council of elders, praised the result and awarded the team a six-million-CFA-franc bonus. Colombe now prepares for Sunday’s return leg in Yaoundé, where it must protect its lead to reach the group stage.
