Colombian government reports three killed in rebel attack on military post

Colombian authorities reported that at least three soldiers were killed and several more injured in an attack by the National Liberation Army (ELN) on September 4, 2026, in Ocana, Norte de Santander. Drones were used to drop explosives on the military compound. President Abelardo de la Espriella vowed to respond with the full force of the State to any attacks on security forces.
