Commission for University Education Dispatches Special Team to Probe Fake Degrees at MMUST

The government has dispatched a team of experts to investigate allegations of fake degrees at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST). This decision follows a directive from Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba for a comprehensive investigation. The allegations, raised by former Minister Mukhisa Kituyi, involve names of individuals who were never enrolled appearing on a graduation list. The university has denied these claims, stating that its graduation processes adhere to established academic standards.
