Concert: Kocee pulls off his Buea show despite security concerns

Kocee reunited with his fans last Saturday at his Homecoming Concert at Molyko Stadium in Buea, in Cameroon’s Southwest Region. Despite security concerns and a statement attributed to a separatist group calling for the concert to be cancelled—whose authenticity could not be independently verified—the show went ahead before a large crowd, though no official attendance figure was confirmed. On May 8, 2026, Kocee won the Kundé for Best Central African Artist at the ceremony in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
