Congo-Kinshasa: DR Congo Protests Tshisekedi Constitutional Plans

Police in the Democratic Republic of Congo used tear gas and arrested protesters during demonstrations in several cities against President Felix Tshisekedi's constitutional change plans. Opposition parties, united under the C64 coalition, oppose the proposed changes, fearing they could allow Tshisekedi to seek a third term. Clashes occurred in Kinshasa, while protests were also reported in Lubumbashi and Mbandaka, where security forces dispersed demonstrators.
