Constitution Review: Speakers yet to get formal transmission of bills — Conference Chairman

Dennis Guwor, the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, confirmed that the body is ready to engage with the Nigeria Governors’ Forum regarding the transmission of Constitution Review resolutions. State Assemblies are still awaiting formal copies of the bills, including the State Police Bill, before making final decisions. Guwor emphasized the importance of engaging with governors to harmonize perspectives on the proposed State Policing framework.
