Continuous ASUU strike in Ondo varsities shameful, unacceptable – NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) described the shutdown of Ondo State-owned universities as shameful and unacceptable. In a statement, NANS National President Afeez Akinteye announced the initiation of massive protests in states affected by the ongoing ASUU strike, which has lasted for two months due to unpaid salaries and the Ondo State government's failure to implement the FG-ASUU 2025 agreement. NANS also ordered a relocation of its leadership to university campuses to coordinate these actions.
