Convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic gets hero’s burial in Serbia

Thousands gathered in Belgrade for the funeral of Ratko Mladic, convicted of genocide and war crimes. Mladic, who died on August 27, was buried with military honors, his coffin draped in the Serbian flag. Attendees included Serbian political figures and representatives from Republika Srpska, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic did not attend, although he supported the organization of a dignified funeral.
