Intergovernmental negotiations in Yaoundé have resulted in an increase in Germany's funding for development projects in Cameroon, reaching 89 million euros in 2026, approximately 58.3 billion FCFA. This amount marks an increase from the 50 million euros mobilized between 2020 and 2021 and the 75 million euros in 2023. The Minister of Economy, Alamine Ousmane Mey, emphasizes that this development reflects Germany's ongoing commitment to Cameroon.
