Türkiye will present its Industrial Decarbonisation Investment Platform (TIDIP) at COP31, held in Antalya from November 9 to 20. The initiative aims to mobilize more than $6 billion by 2030, starting with $250 million in funding from the Clean Technology Fund. It targets steel, aluminum, cement and fertilizer production, with the goal of cutting annual emissions by an amount equivalent to 20 million tonnes of CO₂. The platform is led by Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Technology alongside the EBRD, IBRD and IFC; Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir also pointed to €5.7 billion in EU support through IPA III.
