The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) postponed 24 first-round Copa del Rey matches scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and evening as a mark of solidarity with victims of a collision between two high-speed trains in Toledo province. The federation said Spanish football stood united in grief and was ready to assist authorities. Spanish officials reported at least 31 deaths and 80 injuries after the crash, which occurred about 130 kilometres south of Madrid. The RFEF said it would provide the revised schedule and kick-off times later.
