Côte d’Ivoire-Japan Cooperation: CEPICI Strengthens Ties with Japanese Companies

During the « SIFCA Days by JETRO 2026 » in Abidjan from September 24 to 26, 2026, CEPICI presented Japanese companies with investment opportunities in Côte d’Ivoire and support mechanisms. The event aimed to promote Côte d’Ivoire as an investment destination and to establish connections between international investors and local businesses, including site visits to SIFCA’s operations in palm oil, rubber, and agro-industry. Badou Thierry, director of Investment Attraction at CEPICI, represented the organization. The initiative supports the goals of the PND 2026-2030, which forecasts 114.8 trillion FCFA in investments, with about 70% from the private sector.
