Côte d’Ivoire: Tensions at the top ahead of cabinet reshuffle; Ouattara and Macron speak

Ivorian newspapers are focused on a possible cabinet reshuffle as the ruling RHDP faces what Le Bélier describes as leadership disputes and a governance crisis. Le Nouveau Réveil says tensions at the top of the state are making it difficult to redistribute positions and privileges. While in Europe, Alassane Ouattara met French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, according to Le Jour Plus. Pro-government Fraternité Matin reported Ouattara as saying Côte d’Ivoire had shown that progress was possible.
