Côte d’Ivoire: the 3rd edition of the National Health Promotion Week launched

The third edition of the National Health Promotion Week will take place from October 19 to 24, 2026, at the Palace of Culture in Treichville, Abidjan, under the theme « Health Promotion, a Driver of Resilience and Sustainable Development ». The official launch was announced on October 12, 2026, during a press conference at the General Directorate of Health, with Dr. Tia Mamadou representing the director general. The event will be presided over by Minister Pierre Dimba and aims to strengthen disease prevention, promote healthy behaviors, and mobilize populations around health issues, emphasizing a multisectoral approach.
