The Sharia Court in Jogana has adjourned until November 3, 2026, a lawsuit filed by Muhammad Abdulkadir against TikToker Fatima Tabatul. Abdulkadir is seeking ₦5,252,077, claiming he spent the money after she promised to marry him and later failed to fulfil that promise. Tabatul’s lawyer, Usman Umar Abdullahi, challenged the court’s jurisdiction, while Abdulkadir’s lawyer, Yasir Garba Mukhtar, argued that it has authority to hear the case.
