Court Fixes October 2 for Sowore to Continue Defence in Alleged Cyberbullying of Tinubu - Daily Post Nigeria

The Federal High Court has scheduled October 2 for Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, to continue his defense in the cyberbullying case filed by the Department of State Services (DSS). Sowore is prosecuted for posts made in August 2025 on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook, where he called President Bola Tinubu a 'criminal' and accused him of lying about corruption levels. The court rejected Sowore's request for the judge to recuse himself and ordered the case to proceed, despite issues with DSS witnesses not being present.
