Court halts Osun community leader's burial plans

An Osun State High Court has ordered a halt to burial arrangements for Chief Moses Ayanbeku, with a hearing set for April 20, 2026. Judge A.O. Adeniji granted an interim injunction restraining all parties from proceeding with the burial, including the hospital holding the remains. The claimant, Gifty Ayangunilayo Fagunwa, presented five prayers, all of which were granted by the court.
