Court orders SHA to rehire former NHIF finance boss

The Employment and Labour Relations Court ordered the Social Health Authority (SHA) to rehire Robert Ingasira, former finance director of NHIF, whose position was affected by restructuring in October 2025. The court also directed SHA to pay Mr. Ingasira Sh3 million in damages for breach of his constitutional rights. Mr. Ingasira was recruited in October 2023 for a five-year term, but his services were terminated during the transition to SHA.
