Court reserves judgment indefinitely in Taraba APC primary election disputes

The Federal High Court in Jalingo, Taraba State capital, on Wednesday adjourned indefinitely its judgment in two separate suits challenging the APC primary elections for two federal constituencies. The suits were filed by Princess Leah Olusiyi Solomon and Job Julius, seeking nullification of primaries for the Jalingo/Yorro/Zing and Ardo-Kola/Karim Lamido/Lau constituencies respectively. The plaintiffs allege that the APC failed to conduct valid primaries in accordance with the Electoral Act and party guidelines. Judge Mashkur Salisu reserved judgment indefinitely, with the date to be communicated later.
