Court sentences four terrorists to life imprisonment, convicts 14 others

The Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced four Boko Haram terrorists to life imprisonment after they pleaded guilty to the charges against them. Justice James Omotosho also convicted 14 others to prison terms ranging from 20 to 25 years. The convicts' confessional statements and investigation reports were presented by a witness from the Department of State Services (DSS) and admitted as evidence. Those sentenced to life imprisonment include Ali Abiso, Bakura Abah Kabiru, Ado (a.k.a. Luka Garba), and Babagoni Masawai.
