Courtois to Miss El Clásico Due to Illness

Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out of Sunday’s La Liga match against Barcelona at Camp Nou after contracting the flu. Andriy Lunin is expected to take his place in goal, and Illia Voloshyn has been called into the squad. Real Madrid trail Barcelona by six points and will also be without Vinícius Júnior, who is serving a four-match domestic suspension. Madrid have already lost twice in the league this season, against Real Betis and Atlético Madrid.
