CP Erale assumes duty as 25th Delta Police Commissioner

The Delta State Police Command welcomed its 25th Commissioner of Police, CP Samuel Etaifo Erale, who assumed duty in August 2026. Erale, with over three decades of policing experience, previously served as Commissioner of Police in charge of security for the Osun State governorship election. He is described as a 'tested and trusted operational commander' and has served in several states, including Kogi, Ekiti, and Akwa Ibom.
