Ivory Coast Elephants: Eddy Doué, Guéla's cousin, joins the first team

Eddy Doué, a 20-year-old midfielder playing for Estrela Amadora, has been called up for the first time to the Ivory Coast national team by Hervé Renard. He joins his cousin Guéla Doué, who is also selected, for the qualifiers of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. After a promising start to the season with six appearances and three assists, Eddy Doué is taking a new step in his career, having previously played for PSG and other clubs in France.
