CPUT students return after shutdown, but concerns remain over lost teaching time

Students at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) have returned to classes after a nearly month-long shutdown caused by protests. Students, including Qhawe Mlandu, are concerned about their ability to catch up on lost time before the academic year ends. The shutdown was triggered by opposition to a financial recovery plan and residence conditions, leading to destruction on the Bellville campus.
