Crash in Kenge: investigations opened, security reinforced at the scene

Following a plane crash from Kikwit in Kenge that resulted in 17 deaths, security measures have been increased in the area. An investigation team has been dispatched, and a helicopter from Kinshasa arrived to clarify the circumstances. The black box has not yet been recovered, and provincial authorities of Kwango have ordered the site to be secured and evidence preserved. The death toll has risen from 13 to 17, including 13 military personnel, two of whom are generals, and 4 civilians, including a child.
