Crash of Kenge: death toll revised upwards to 17

A plane crash in Kenge, Kwango province, DRC, resulted in 17 deaths, according to Vice-Governor Rémy Saki. The aircraft, traveling between Kikwit and Kinshasa, crashed into a field in Kenge in the early afternoon, with the cause and the airline still unknown. The initial death toll of 13 was revised upwards, with 16 people on board, including 4 crew members, and no survivors; twelve bodies were burned. The Air Force was dispatched to recover the bodies, and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
