Cricket World Cup: India-Pakistan gets more ticket requests than the final

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has received nearly 8.5 million ticket requests for the group match between India and Pakistan, scheduled for October 10, 2027, in Johannesburg. Demand for the match has exceeded the nearly eight million requests for the final, which will take place in the same city on November 21. The rivals could meet again in the Super Seven stage and in the final if both qualify. The 12-team World Cup will feature 57 matches in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia from October 7 to November 21, 2027.
