CTIJF proudly partners with Ian Burgess-Simpson Pianos

The Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) announced a partnership with Ian Burgess-Simpson Pianos for the 2026 edition. The company supplied a Fazioli piano, widely regarded as one of the finest handcrafted instruments in the world, for performances by artists such as Abdullah Ibrahim. The collaboration highlighted both international craftsmanship and local South African expertise. CTIJF co-director Georgia Jones emphasized that the partnership allows performers to experience the same standard as leading concert halls in London, New York, or Milan.
