Customs intensifies anti-smuggling operations against vegetable oil imports

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has intensified efforts to combat vegetable oil smuggling, launching intelligence-driven special operations. Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi met with stakeholders in Abuja to reaffirm the NCS's commitment to protecting local investments and jobs. Deputy Comptroller-General Timi Bomodi reported seizures along key border corridors and pledged enhanced surveillance.
