Da Cruz confident Chiefs can challenge Sundowns – if consistency holds

Kaizer Chiefs coach Fernando da Cruz believes his team can compete with Mamelodi Sundowns in single matches but is uncertain if they can sustain that performance throughout the season. Sundowns, currently the top team domestically, won the MTN8 final and were crowned champions in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific regions. Da Cruz stated their goal is to challenge consistently over the season, referencing their earlier 1-1 draw with Sundowns. The Chiefs will face Stellenbosch after the FIFA break, aiming to maintain their unbeaten streak.
