Dakar: A 15 Billion FCFA Burn Treatment Center to Enhance Specialized Care at the Main Hospital

A new burn treatment center will be built in Dakar with an investment of 15 billion FCFA, signed by the State and the Senelec Foundation. This project, co-chaired by Ministers Birame Souleye Diop and General Birame Diop, aims to enhance care for burn victims, featuring 40 specialized beds and modern equipment. Senegal records over 25,000 burn cases annually, with nearly 1,000 requiring specialized care.
