Dakar Plateau and Medina: SEN’EAU Announces Water Distribution Disruptions This Weekend

SEN’EAU announced disruptions to drinking water distribution in Dakar Plateau and Medina due to emergency repairs on a main pipe. A leak was detected near the Dakar Cathedral, opposite the Yum Yum restaurant. Repairs will start on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 8am, causing low pressure or temporary cuts. Normal service is expected by the night of June 6-7, with water trucks deployed.
