Dakar Prosecutor Shakes Up the Pape Abdoulaye Touré Case

The Dakar public prosecutor's office has appealed decisions granting provisional release and judicial control to several suspects in the Pape Abdoulaye Touré case, requesting their detention. The prosecutor also ordered a restart of investigations, including a new arrest of security guard I. Ndiaye from the Dakar University Works Center, who was previously released but is now a suspect based on technical evidence. The case is now before the Dakar Court of Appeal's Chamber of Accusation to resolve the dispute between the prosecution and the initial court decisions.
