Daloa: 17-year-old teenager killed by stone thrown during football match

In Daloa on July 4, 2026, Koné Inza, 17, was fatally struck in the neck by a stone thrown during a neighborhood football match. Rushed to the Daloa Regional Hospital and then to Bouaké, he died en route. The suspect, K.L. alias Lasso, 17, was arrested in Yamoussoukro by the Daloa Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI). He admitted throwing the stone, claiming retaliation after being attacked by the victim and his acquaintances.
