Daloa: Fabienne allegedly killed by her baker boyfriend over suspicions of infidelity

D. Lou Fabienne, known as “Fabi,” a 26-year-old maquis manager, died after a violent argument with her partner, S. Arthur, a 26-year-old baker, at their home in Kennedy 2, Daloa. Sources close to the case said their relationship had been marked by repeated arguments because Arthur suspected Fabienne of infidelity, which she reportedly denied. According to initial statements attributed to Arthur to investigators, he struck Fabienne in the temple with a bottle, causing her to fall in the living room. Neighbors reportedly said he then showered and changed clothes stained with blood.

Martin Fayulu has condemned the detention of Prince Epenge, Lamuka spokesperson and ADD Congo president, who was arrested Sunday at N’djili airport while preparing to travel to Rome. Fayulu is demanding respect for Epenge’s rights, an independent investigation and accountability without political pressure, and has urged the courts to examine a complaint filed by the C64. Epenge’s passport, seized by the Directorate General of Migration, has not been returned.
