Dangote says he faces trouble at work and leaves problems behind when he gets home

At the 25th anniversary celebration of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), Aliko Dangote urged women entrepreneurs to aim high and persevere through business challenges. He said he prepares to face problems at the office each morning but leaves them behind when he gets home to protect his personal life. Dangote also stressed the importance of health and announced plans for a $2.5 million caprolactam production line in Namibia.

At the Néo Charging station operated by Petro-Ivoire, electricity costs 230 CFA francs per kWh, and a full recharge costs 12,000–14,000 CFA francs depending on the vehicle. In November 2026, the maximum price for unleaded petrol is 905 CFA francs per litre and diesel 725 CFA francs, while filling a conventional vehicle can cost more than 40,000 CFA francs. Drivers manage and schedule charging through apps that can be funded via services such as Wave or Orange Money; a car can reach 93% charge in 30 minutes, compared with three to four hours for an electric bus. Charging points with CCS2 or GBT connectors are concentrated in Abidjan parking lots, with some also found in Yamoussoukro, Bassam, Assinie, Moussou and Korhogo.
