Daouda Coulibaly, the child burned with hot oil who became ambassador for the severely burned

Daouda Coulibaly, a former burn patient, organized a visit on June 6, 2026 to the Grand Burns Center in Cocody to provide donations (rice, water, medicine, financial envelope) and restore hope to patients. He was scalded with hot oil at age six and survived thanks to his mother who let him sleep on her to ease his pain, and his grandmother who sold everything to fund treatment. His campaign 'offer hope and restore lives' aims to raise public awareness and support burn victims, a vulnerable and often forgotten group in Côte d'Ivoire.
