Kenya's Transport Ministry has signed a contract with Lebanon-founded engineering firm Dar Al-Handasah Consultants to oversee the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) expansion. Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir stated that the firm will supervise construction, review designs, manage the project, and administer contracts. The construction works worth Ksh 154 billion will be undertaken by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), which was appointed as the main EPC contractor.
